The company was founded in 1978 by Mr. Werner Semet as a non-incorporated firm. Initially the field of activity comprehended general repairs in plants for brick, concrete block and sand-lime brick production.
Due to increasing requirements to the automation technology of up-to-date working production plants, the next step followed.
The “SEMET Förderanlagen GmbH“ (SEMET Conveying Systems LLC) was founded and, from now on, supplied machines and plants for the building material industry.
1994 Mr. Werner SEMET retired from the company and sold the successful enterprise to the INDUS HOLDING AG.
In 2015, Wolfgang Haag acquired the entire know-how of the Semet Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG and thereupon founded the Haag Consulting GmbH & Co. KG. Thereby/ In this way, the successful continuation and support of all existing Semet-customers is guaranteed, while at the same time, the possibility to convince new customers of the long-standing know-how, is offered.
